I'm happy to announce my promotion from third-world internet status to
full-on new world!

Needless to say, no thanks to BT, instead we're going for a solution where
=
a
couple of the local businesses pay the initial set-up costs and
installatio=
n
of the transmitter, and the subscriber base pays the on-going connection
fees. It'll be a 2MB connection (based on the maximum number of
subscribers) using a 5.8GHz network (which supports internal rates of
54MB/s). =A3300 installation (fortunately it supports VPN, so hopefully my
company will cover this), then =A330-35 pm. I'm happy with that! DanTech
=
are
providing the solution.

Still gotta wait another month or so, but at least there's light at the end
of the tunnel!

Don't know why I wrote this, just to show-off I guess ;-P

Pete
