I have spoken extensively about this today trying to sort out what's been
happening with O2 since a lot of list members use O2 as a hosting solution.
Basically Chris Bond parted ways with O2 a few weeks ago and set up his own
hosting company www.rapidhoster.co.uk due to difficulties with O2 and the
management of O2. That is enough detail on that and the rest is Chris's own
private dealings with O2 and we have no right whatsoever to pry into that.
Suffice to say he has no more to do with O2 and cannot say anymore due to
the legalities of the thing.
Now it appears that because Chris is no longer with O2 that the problems
cannot be solved as they seem to have no tech admin. So, in effect O2 is
dead in the water as things stand unless Chris graciously steps in and
fixes
it for them, something that, due to the above he is not overly keen to do
and I'm sure we can all appreciate that he is in a difficult position over
this.
My advice would be to look for other hosting solutions right now as it may
well come to pass that O2 will no longer exist if my information is correct
and, without tech admin, if you ask me, it's a moot point anyway.
I have switched to rapidhoster as it's no more expensive and it's Chris's
own venture so I don't expect any hassles from it, but it's your call where
you move to, but I would suggest you start looking right now!
No, remember the rider at the top **DO NOT REPLY TO THIS**
