Well, I have finally joined the ranks of the VOIP-using community.
The underlying quality of the connection is fine... the quality of
the speaker and mic built into my laptop isn't... hence I need a
headset mic.
Ideally, one that can be used safely with the sound coming from the
speakers would be good.
Any recommendations?
The last time I bought a mike is was an AKG-414, and if you know what
one of those is, you'll guess why I'm not going to buy another for
this application :-)
