Paul,

Have you seen the showers the fire brigade have to wash themselves down
after dealing with a chemical spill ? They're a pyramid structure made from
fire hose with nozzles on the uprights (easier to visualise than explain).
Can you lash a frame together, perhaps with copper tube, and fit some
garden irrigation nozzles (see: http://www.gardena.co.uk/ and follow
the links to Irrigation systems).

Link the whole lot to HV via Ian B's relay board / irrigation system and
Robert is your Mother's brother :-)

Having just taken my doggie for a walk followed by the real chore of
washing her down afterwards I could do with an automated dog washer -
maybe something along the lines of a high pressure hose and a salad
spinner would do! Not sure her insurance would be valid for this kind of
treatment though ;)

Suggestions X10 related or not most welcome.
