RE: recommend a broadband ISP?

I second the recommendation for www.freedom2surf.net, or www.f2s.net if
you=
're lazy.
=20
They've been in the top 5 or so, price-wise, for a long time, and I've
used=
them for ages with very few, very short outages...
=20
but the best feature for me is the contract - all that small print that
no-=
one reads. F2S allow you to use your service for anything you want for as
=
long as you want. Personal, business, running home web-servers,
commercial=
sites, whatever. I searched through many of the contracts, as I often wor=
k from home, and we run my wife's company from home too - and I didn't
find=
another cheap provider that I wouldn't be technically breaking the T&Cs
by=
using.
=20
Not that they would be likely to find out if you're only browsing, but I
li=
ke the open approach, and it leaves me open to put up any websites I
fancy,=
whenever (either on their free web-space, or on my own PC attached via the=
ir link. If you want an interesting comparison, have a proper read of
BT's=
contract!
=20
Rgds,
Jake.

Dear adamiec2000; Ian Willoughby,
I use F2S who have been great... I got 16 static IP=
s for a fiver a
month (I dont know if your 50 quid is one off or not) -
www.freedom2surf.net which are 22.50 a month plus options - also I used
a solwise SAR715 router which is a cool piece of kit... serial console
in cose you break it, has a ROM console in case you screw up a flash...=20
nice router.

Adios,

Lee Edward Causier.
