Hi Richard,
Actually, I'm looking for two types of speakers, one for announcements,
where sound quality is not that important, and the others to be used as
rear spekers for my home cinema.=20
I found some at Henry's for announcements. They have white grille, but
thy have four screws for fixing, and I'm not sure that I can scew them
in plaster, so near to the edge.=20
Regarding surround speakers, I'm still searching...My amp is 5x100W.
Nik

Nik,
There is no 'conventional' cone type ceiling speaker that slim. The only
thing that might be is some TV or Car audio speakers which would only be
suitable for tiny rooms, and you'd need a sub-bass somewhere in the room
anyway. I should start looking at NXT flat panel speakers which are now
coming down in price. They definitely need a sub-bass unit with them as
they only go down to about 120Hz. CPC do a set for =A3200 including sub.

Mick, what are the shallowest you found. I'm looking for some wall
speakers for past 6 months, but couldn't find the ones that would fit
in only 50mm from the surface of plasterboard. Cheers, Nik

I have the 6.5" 125.063 in front of me.
I measured 62mm from the face of the plasterboard to the back of the
speaker plus about 15mm (ish)
below - so the total height of the speaker is 77mm. The web site says
this speaker has a depth of
65mm.
