Mmmm. I've had no problems, but then my cables don't get touched / moved
around - that is until I have another "bright idea" and it all
stops working ;-) They sit under the TV and just connect the aerial to the
digibox, video & TV. The terrestrial aerial & satellite feeds come
through the wall on a DIY F-connector wall plate.

Are you saying the centre-conductor screw works loose ? Loctite ? :-)

They have a screw connection for the centre conductor and, for plastic

Those are the same as the ones I have tried to use in the past with no
sucess.

The twisting of the wire on the screw that holds the center conductor
always
works lose.

Just put F connectors on and then use an F->belling-lee adaptor.
