RE: TV Cards

Picture quality is very good in a small window on the monitor but of
course looks blurry at full screen. I say of course because tv signals
are not broadcast at anything like monitor resolutions so blowing them
up will always results in a blurred image. Another option would be to
reduce the monitor resolution, but I haven't done that with this card
(it has worked well with previous hauppage cards).

I myy give it a go in the HCPC at some point which is running a lower
resolution and connected directly to the Plasma screen via vga, that may
well give interesting results.

To be honest you don't need a good graphics card to watch TV that is
coming from a tuner card as the tuner card does all the hard work and
you will ideally be running at a low resolution. The key thing really is
the signal strength and software.

I have excellent signal strength but the Hauppage software is pretty
crap, I am considering the Nebula card for the HCPC which is supposed to
be a much better package than the Nova.
