I know this is daft question to ask you lot, but does anyone have any
knowledge of sports injuries?

The reason I ask is that we've been playing football on a local
astroturf pitch for 10 weeks, and in those 10 weeks we've had 3 players
suffer cruciate ligament injuries.

Now I've been playing on astroturf for nearly 7 years, and I've NEVER
seen a single injury of this type before. All 3 have come from eith
inocuous challenges, or no challenge at all, just falling awkwardly.

If anyone has any input at all, can you mail me off list please, cheers.
