Re: Using LM12 and electronic ballast controls

I don't know, but I'm guessing that an arc lamp is, due to it's nature,
either on or off, and cannot be dimmed.

Subject: [ukha_d] Using LM12 and electronic ballast controls

> Can anyone advise if I can use an LM12 to control (all functions -
on/off/dim) a 150W lumiaire with a ceramic arc metal halide bulb? This
lamp
uses an electronic ballast to drive it. I am trying to go for simplicity
and cost effective remote control but wonder if I can actually achieve it.

mounted and controlled via a keyfob/LM12/TM13 configuration. Simple but is
it do-able?
