God dont you hate that.....!!!  Spend hours looking for a fault thats not
really a fault....
Who said electronics was fun.......errr i think i did ;-))

I havent had any problems with the Power Supply causing glitches on my
receivers but I did have spurious flashes being picked up sometimes. Tried
different receivers and it still happened.

Finally found the cause.... My LAPTOP !!!!

It was sitting across the other side of the room and its IRDA port was
polling
for devices to talk to. Hibernated the laptop... spurious pulses stopped,
woke
it up.. pulses started again. I wasnt going mad after all !!!!!
