Comfort and IR

I have a Comfort setup and have an IR emitter in the living room .It
works well and sends a signal to switch inputs on the TV when the
doorbell rings so that we can see who is at the door. I got a mini-blind
opener from LA and it works well in my study. I also installed over
Easter another IR eimitter in the study to send an open and close signal
to the mini-blinds. The problem is that you need to keep your finger
pressed on the button to actually make the blind open/close. I can't
seem to get the Comfort IR to do this. I have a response set up to send
the IR signal 5 times but still no joy? Any Ideas?
