Just a minor cautionette - balanced non-phantom mics are not damaged
by hantom power, but unbalanced mics are.
I'm sure you know that, bu fr those not conversant with phantom
powering, it might just save someone some smoke :-)

With a PS - Tandy use to flog unbalanced PZM mics for twenty od quid,
which were Crowns in disguise, and much cheaper than the Crown
equivalent. Although Tandy are well gone from the UK (thank you
carphone warehouse), Radio Shack in the US is still alive and well,
and these mics may be available from "over there"
