I have been lurking here for a few months and would like to have a
nice simple integrated PC based system for playing CD's and DVD.
I bought a Slimp3 which will be great for the kitchen etc..
But for the living room I will have a plasma screen and a 5.1
surround sound system.
I have looked at Showshifter as a possible way to play CD's and I
guess I can get it to play ripped DVD's from a library.
I think I can also use it to record programs from the TV/Cable?
Any thoughts/suggestions would be welcome.
