Frank,

Take care that hardware IP phones have only G.711 and G.729 codecs and the
lower bitrate G.729 is a proprietary codec, not available for free.
Microsoft G.723  and GSM low bitrate codecs are not available for the SIP
softphone (SJPhone), unfortunately.
