Re: (was) Pogo description (now) Sony Ericsson P800 smartphone

I have been using one of these for the last couple of days and I reckon it
is truly a revolutionary device

to summarise its a phone (triband, GSM, GPRS and HSCSD) , colour PDA
(running symbian 7) with bluetooth and IR, and camera. I have used various
pdas over years, psion, palm etc and this is the first unit that you can
actually take with you everywhere, giving you full access to your email
(pop3, imap,smtp clients built in) , full HTML browsing etc. And of course
because it is GPRS then you can have it automatically check your email at
predefined intervals, without the cost implication of lots of 2-3 minute
calls per day.
it really is the 'single converged device' that manufacturers have been
promising.
plus, it is an open platform allowing developers to write apps for it using
java or c++

highly recommended!

cheers
