A standard drip filter coffee maker?

As far as I was concerned, they were all a much of a muchness, until I
read on www.coffeekid.com that most of them don't heat the water to
ideal temperature, most go too cold..... but coffeekid's machine advice
is more geared towards what is available in the states.

In work we currently use a Rowenta Milano Therm from John Lewis, but
that was mainly because the last hotplate based coffee maker went
tits-up due to having the heating element on 8 hours a day.... :D This
one has a vacum flask to keep the coffee warm, rather than a hotplate.

The coffee is nothing stunning however, but it's a good workhorse for
the office.

In the flat, I can't remember the name of the filter maker, but I
recently bought an espresso maker when Aldi had a bargain on them.... a
good cup of espresso based coffee blows a drip filter out of the water
any day of the week! :D
