The AWM2 MicroModules' from Marmitek will fit in
the back of a standard wiring box behind the switch
or even in the ceiling above the lamp.

Upside : This means that you can keep your existing switches.

Downside : This is an appliance module , so no dimming I'm afraid.

Where : available from many people including Laser & LetsAutomate

Light @ end of tunnel : There is a 250w dimming version on the way through
although I don't believe it's hit production yet. They work well
though
and do a few cute things like sending an X-10 on/off out when
they're
controlled locally so everyone else knows status etc
