Either through a panel or a panel in itself.
RS have these 130-381 which are the sort of thing I had in mind - bu the
choice is very limited.

RS have some neat quadrant switches but not cheap.

Is it for mounting through a panel?

I'm considering having a go at creating a small LCD display as a learning
exercise. I would like just a few small buttons to create something
interactive - but am really struggling to work our any way of creating a
small neat set of buttons. (Something like a 4 way cursor and a couple of
extras).
I had expected to be able to find a small ready made rubber membrane style
keypads in a variety of common layouts but havent found anything. I
certainly dont need something capable of mains, and also dont want the size
of say a 4 way clipsal face plate.
Any ideas on where to look (short of butchering an old remote for the
keypad) - nothing in the maplins catalogue or farnell web-site jumps out.
Thanks
Dean
