Steve,

You bet they are corny...but wait till your friends and family hear
them.  :)  I've got my intro timed to the screen dropping down and
the lights dimming.  I've done more complex ones that are about 1
minute long that also integrate rope lighting, strobes, laser FX,
etc.

I purposely went for the Donna Reed/Old Drive In Theater style
background music.  Although there is a couple hi-tech themed intros.

Hopefully there is something for everyone.

If there's enough interest, I may come up with a combo package.
Which would include the following audio beds:
1) The movie starts in XX minutes (Plus background Music)
2) The movie is about to begin
3) Intermission (Let's go out to the snack bar)
4) Thank you for joing us tonight.

All these would use the same theme music so they would blend well
together.

You can even have the intro's customized with your theater/family
name. This really scores points with the better half. :)
