I think most Sky installers use CT100 cable. You can also use CT125 (?) but
it's not as flexible and is much more difficult to route (I have 4x CT100
t=
o
my quad LNB - Sky+ x 2, Sky Freeview x1, spare x 1). I also have several
runs of CT125 which are used for the BT broadband over satellite service
(separate big dish).

Aiming it isn't difficult but you'd be advised to pick up a signal strength
meter (I got a digital one for about =A360 from a local installer) or have
=
the
Sky signal quality strength display (from one of the menu's) in easy sight
of your install. Don't know the directions (compass bearing etc) but there
is a lot of info on the web if you search.

Paul.

I am looking to install a sat dish for sky and possibly for a net link...
Can anyone tell me which is the best dish to go for, what cable I should be
running (for both the DIGI channels and the net link) and is there a
specific Line-of-site direction I gotta make sure is clear ??
