The main issues with such kind of devices, including well known ICQ phone,
Yahoo, etc. are in my opinion the following:
- you need a PC permanently started and with a user logged on
- does not work several behind a home broadband router (NAT), sometimes not
even one without some very big restrictions (see MSN behind a NAT firewall)
- the quality of the sound is not as good as on a hardware device like the
Cisco IP phones

Does anyone know a cheaper SIP enabled IP phone  (even a no-name)?
