RE: Quick SLIMP3 question

Not quite sure what you mean!

Are you saying you want to access your SLIMP3 server from the outside
world? Why would you want to do this? This would mean anyone on the
internet could change your playlists! However assuming this is what you
want to do then I am not sure what the problem is. All you should need
to do is open up port 9000. Are you using the mapped port when trying to
connect?

Or are you saying you cannot access shoutcast/icecast servers from your
SLIMP3?

I hope I have not missed your point!

Cheers
Claude

Subject: [ukha_d] Quick SLIMP3 question

Just got it today. A big thank you first of all to Ken Watt for all his
hard work!! THANKS!
I have opened a port on my firewall and mapped it to the SLIMP3 port
9000 but I can't see anything from the outside world. Is this normal??

Regards

Michael
