I am reliably informed by my younger and somewhat more hip brother that
vinyl is very much back in vogue, apparently you should not be seen
buying anything else :-)

But maybe it was just a plan to get his hands on my rega turntable from
the loft?

Black plastic circles with a hole in the middle and a long wiggly
scratch on each side. Very popular before those shiny silver musical
coffee mats that have been rendered almost obsolete by MP3's. One day I
will get to sort through the thousands of black plastic circles in the
loft. I figure the longer I leave it the less I will have to record to
MP3 as I will have found digital copies from somewhere. Then again....
thinking about some of the obscure stuff up there it will probably never
be released on CD !!!
