I think you have to be careful with the length of cable and conductor
thickness if you're extending the cable between transformer and lights -
low voltage at 50W = lots of current.



It's normally best to site the transformer centrally and wire 'star'

I bought a kit of 5 lights from B&Q at the weekend, but I don't think
the wiring loom that comes with it is going to be long enough.

Am I safe chopping the cable where I need to & jointing in extensions
with plugblock? I assume so as the kit comes with plug blocks to join
the transformer to the lights ...
