it depends what you mean by "photo CD". A 'proper' photo cd is as
defined by
Kodak and I don't know that many DVD players can play them. I imagine most
of
the DVD players advertised as being able to play photo CD's in fact means
they
will display a bunch of jpegs which have been burned to CDR.
Photo CD creation packages usually just make a VCD with a menu and static
images and that is the case with the Ulead package I use.
So as long as the player supports VCD (and CDR/RW) then you should be ok.
