Neil,

Is this for exhibition display type use?

If so, I think you'd need something fairly powerful (depending on the
situation, ambient light etc) - I'd ask this question of a theatrical or
exhibition lighting specialist. I've dealt with a few before if you need
any references.

Subject: [ukha_d] OT - Cove lighting question

I need to find some floor standing lighting to illuminate some free
standing
display graphics which stand 7 feet high and are upto 3 feet wide.
Lighting
must be robust & portable with good lamp life with even illumination.

The Color Kinetics cove lighting looks a strong possibility being LED
based
and available in different lengths although the colour option would not
be
used. If anyone has used these units and could comment I would
appreciate
it.

Secondly, can anyone think of suitable alternatives?

Thanks

Neil.
