I use an RF2Link to control the digibox, and even that gets the
occasional misfire from TiVo.

One time I specifically noticed it was when I was zapping something
with a remote at the same time TiVo was changing channels on the Sky
digibox via the RF2Link connection (front IR Blaster on TiVo
disabled). It messed up the channel change, but luckily I was there
and thought to check it out.

I guess if something is sending timed IR commands then that could
interfere.
