I was only 13 :-)

But already had 10 years experience of messing about with electrical things

My first ever HA project was back in 1973 when I salvaged a timer from a
scrap cooker and used it to switch my record player on in the mornings.

Just realised I have 30 years experience in HA :-)

I use a timer built into the oven - anyone tapped into one before to be
able to play a message over speakers etc.



I guess it's easier to use a portable timer but, hey, this is HA isn't
it?  ;)
