There is an even better setup IMO that I use:



Comfort is linked to a PC running ACE. When a zone is triggered, ACE TTS
speaks over the whole-house audio system in a much more natural voice
(AT&T Natural Voices). It fades any music playing, speaks and that
fades
music back up again. Very nice.



Of course you do need a PC dedicated as a HA server (well actually I've
got two - the main being a dual processor system with the 160Gb MP3
database on ) a UCM, ACE and a linked audio system.

Tom how have you implement this in Comfort?  Zone responses? Do you stop
it
announcing when it is in Night or Away mode?
