Hi All,
Just visited the Itron factory about 3 miles from my house.
They have some really cool GRAPHICS VFD's
GU126x32F-K612A4 126 x 32 pixels
GU126x64F-K612A4 126 x 64 pixels
Both boot up as standard TEXT displays but are easily configurable as
Graphics.
Cool Features....
Single 5V Supply
3 ASCII Fonts 5x5, 5x7, 10x14
RS232 Asynchronous Serial Interface
8 User I/O pins with *** KEY SCANNING CAPABILITY ***
One off prices about £51 for the 126x32 and £56 for the 126x64
Available either from the likes of Farnell or direct from Noritake-Itron
More info http://www.noritake-itron.com
Seem ideal for the kind of message displays being developed for xAP and xPL
