Hi all,

First, sorry to hear of your break in Marcus.

Second, this issue of security/automation comes up fairly regularly in this
group - there are many points of view.

For my own part, I'd recommend everyone looks at the Visonic Powermax as an
X10 enabled wireless security system.

Heres a review Mark S-J did in the past with loads of follow up posts...

Some call it a poor mans Comfort, but the price makes it worth looking at
if
you're simply after X10 control at this point.

Finally, thanks to Steve Cooper for mentioning our service - you can access
your alarm status, receive texts on alarm events, and get them to forwarded
to nominated friends if you're not contactable. All with a web interface.
And with a Powermax you can set timers for your X10, etc too. Come and say
