RE: comfort fitting

I'm in exactly the same boat as Pankaj - I have a "normal"
security
system at the moment that I want to X-10 enable, and all the
recommendations seem to point at Comfort. SWMBO might let me get away
with swapping the current alarm panel/keypad with new Comfort ones
(provided she doesn't see my credit card bill!) but I'd really like to
avoid messing with all the existing PIR sensors and the bellbox.

Can anyone offer us any reassurances before we take the plunge?

Many thanks,

Julian

Subject: [ukha_d] comfort fitting

The recent thread on Comfort reminded me that I was going to put it into
my new
house instead of the current system. to get basic functionality, is it a
simple
case of re-wiring the existing PIRs and siren to the Comfort CPU?

Pankaj.
