Re: Fax problems on Cat5 cabling
Not normally, if the device is ringing and answering then the wiring should
be OK, one simple test for that is can you send a fax ?
I would also call the machine and see what you get, when it answers it
should fax negotiation (sounds like normal modem tone)
Also check that you have not accidentally set up some
telephone/answermachine integration, my fax has this and it can really
screw
you up.
