RE: Stolen Fuji..

Just reviewing my home insurance cover and noticed that it does not
covery any computer equipment, or anything with a microchip!. My iPaq is
now a brick and was hoping to get some sort of cover on it. Compaq want
=A375 to tell me how much it will cost to fix it!!
I have not phoned the insurance company yet but was a little surprised
to see that as an exclusion!

Subject: [ukha_d] Stolen Fuji..

One of the things that they stole from our house was my Fuji Webpad
with a wireless lan card.. so no more surfing from the couch for me for
a while :(

Fortunately we are covered with "New for Old" insurance so the
big
question is .. what is the current modern day equivalent ? I assume
a Microsoft Web Tablet such as Acer TravelMate C102Ti or HP Evo TC1000
Tablet PC or TOSHIBA Prot=E9g=E9 3500

Does anyone have any experience of these new web tablets ? One big
advantage (for me) is that they all seem to have "real" keyboards
built in. The Fuji was a pain for using search engines etc because
of the fiddly on screen keyboard.
