Thanks, yes - it is now disabled for me too.

I have since downloaded Netscape, which worked fine for some reason.

I have tried IE6 on 3 different machines in 2 locations with different
ISP's and under both XP and Win2k, and it does not work for me.
I also tried some other browser (can't remember the name, had never
heard of it before) which also did not work.
This is why I though it was Netcache, because there were no other common
factors really....

Seems not to be the case now, though fcuk knows why _all_ the installs
of IE6 are unhappy & that other browser is unhappy too.....

Thanks for all your help guys,

Tony

<quote>
Approximately half of our customers are no longer transparently cached.
The remainder of customers should
see transparent HTTP caching disabled within the next fortnight. We have
decided that the opt in cache farm
shall be located in Knowsley. Further details to follow in months to
come.

And that was the beginning of February.

You could try setting a proxy in IE of webcache.blueyonder.co.uk, port
3128 and
see if you can access the questions OK.

HTH,

John
