Good news Frank!
And with Kevin's hard work on xAP for c-bus this further strengthens its
position.
Certainly the Comfort C-bus UCM works very well and operability in both
directions (i.e. C-bus controlling Comfort and Comfort controlling
C-bus.) works very well. Just a shame that Comfort is so cumbersome to
programme even with comfigurator.

Cheers

Rob

Hi All
Today i was talking to the Genesis tech from Brisbane and he was
telling me that the C_Bus guy from Hayman Integrated Systems ( belongs
to Gerard Industries) got Genesis sending lighting commands to the C_Bus
system and was impressed how easy it was to do so . You can program Text
Messages (100 off from memory) into Genesis which can be sent whenever
an event or condition occurs to either a keypad OR to any of the
Genesis add on modules... ie 2 door access controller( via rs485
network) and these devices have a serial port which i assume you
connect a C_bus pc interface ....It appears the C_bus commands are
ASCII... Genesis people have applied for the C_Bus protocol and its been
approved so I'm hoping it comes through soon..
