Expired domains aren't really registered to anyone any more, but Nominet
say they will attempt to contact the previous registrant to make sure they
no longer want the domain before releasing them completely.

My understanding (as a Nominet member) is that Freeola may charge an
admin fee if they made it clear at the time you registered the domain
that there would be such a fee -- ie. it forms part of your contract
with them. Quite how this might apply to expired domains, I'm really
not sure. You may also find other Nominet members unwilling to take a
transfer of a domain that's already expired because this is common in
cases where the domain has been registered fraudulently.

I'd check what your agreement with Freeola is, and then contact Nominet to
see what advice they can offer, but the easiest way out might well be to
renew the domains with Freeola and the transfer them all away.
