I guess deactivating the groups is the only way to go if they
deactivate the account, because there would be no-one (necessarily)
left at the helm. And in the case where the violation was related to
dodgy groups themselves, it would make 100% sense.
I wonder how much evidence is required to close a Yahoo account? Not
much, if first impressions of Mark H's situation are anything to go
by. If a list can really be made to disappear forever for the
slenderest of reasons, then that is a very compelling reason to make
The Big Move(tm).
