Right, I've decided I'm not brave enough to try and get this thing working,
so I'm going to sell it on. If anyone is interested, it's on ebay.co.uk
(Apologies for the blatent advertising).

Cheers

Marc,

A mate has one of these although he's not tried to get it working yet. It's
>from
one of these ?

There's a Fujitsu site with miscellaneous drivers here (incl. the
touch-screen driver).
http://www.ftxs.fujitsu.com/fujitsutemp.asp?navid=47
<http://www.ftxs.fujitsu.com/fujitsutemp.asp?navid=47>

We haven't found a PSU yet and we suspect the 5V is only for the
touch-screen interface (serial). The 12V would be for the screen-proper.
Holidays and work pressures have stopped us getting much further. Should be
possible to lash something up though.

The screen signal connection is a "DFP" connector (DFP = Digital
Flat Panel)
and is an early version of the DVI monitor interfaces. The screen is fully
digital, so you can't make up your own connector and run it from a standard
VGA port, although it is compatible with one of the current DVI standards.
You can see the different types of plug / interfaces here:
http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/DVI_monitor_cables.html
<http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/DVI_monitor_cables.html>
There's also some descriptions of what works with what.

Just out of interest, where did you get it, . . . and do they have any more
??

HTH,

Tim H.
