Re: Security Camera question
Hi David,
Do you need colour? The RF Concepts low light B&W (0.001 lux) cameras
are excellent for this application. I have one on my driveway and the
street lighting is ample. Granted, not so good for identification but this
will always be the case with low light. Best idea is to use these with a
flood light that gets switched on when the camera detects movement (via
external software of course) This is what I plan to add once I get it all
setup.

Subject: [ukha_d] Security Camera question
I've been looking at one of these
http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/mini_colour_audio.htm
for just above the front door of my house. I was wondering if anyone had
any
experience of these types of mini cams.
Also, I know this question is a bit hit and miss but, can anyone tell me
how
much light is needed to still get a decent picture on a colour camera. I
have a street light directly opposite my front door, will that be enough or
will I always need my front light on.
Thanks in advance.
