Yep those Lithium batteries don't like fingerprints, just like
halogen lamps.
Both replacements where brand new (best before 2010) on the pack.
I was thinking into a bad (permanent) contact so I cleaned out the
unit yesterday, still need to buy new batts though and give it a shot.
