I was copying a large file over wireless the other night, and had to
give up and use a wired connection.

The wireless transfer was swinging wildly from 300+k down to 0k, while
the signal strength was constant.

The wired connection was nice and stable at 2000+k (it was a local
transfer)

Any ideas why the transfer rate over wireless should be so shakey?
