Hi Marc,

The current shown on the website is the MAXIMUM that it can supply. The
spec on your monitor is also the MAX it will take but more than likely will
be lower than this. Your monitor will only take what is needs. The voltage
is FIXED but the current is variable to the demand required of it, up to
the max.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the info, just one question though and forgive me if it's a
stupid one. On the Amplicon site, for that product, it says +5Vdc @ 3A,
+12Vdc @ 2A. Doesn't that make the amps too high ? I thought it needed .7
&
1.2 ? or is it ok for the amps to be that little bit higher ?
