Hi Dave,

Thanks for the info, just one question though and forgive me if it's a
stupid one. On the Amplicon site, for that product, it says +5Vdc @ 3A,
+12Vdc @ 2A. Doesn't that make the amps too high ? I thought it needed .7
&
1.2 ? or is it ok for the amps to be that little bit higher ?

Forget RS and Farnell. Nothing with suitable +12V output so had a dig
around the Amplicon website instead and found the PUP30-23 (product code
90990795) desktop style PSU for =A335 + VAT. The website states free
delive=
ry
too.

I have used Amplicon power supplies for years now and the quality and
support is great.

Excellent, I will go and have a look at it now :) All I need to do now,
is
work out the pin assignments ! :O

The unit says at the back, +5/+12 - 0.7/1.2A
