Well, my phone is a Philips Onis 2 handset, so may not be the same as
yours. There's a couple of small plastic tabs at the sides (one of which
broke off), and there's a small torx screw behind the batteries. I
didn't have a small enough bit for it either, so I used an old
jeweller's screwdriver which had the sides worn off. Try any old flat or
Philips screwdrivers you have - one should fit well enough to get it
out.

How did you get the bloody things apart?  My T1 is no good.  What size
bit do I need?
