The radeon 7000 can be had with a half height bracket included, it has
both Svid and composite video outs

Subject: [ukha_d] Half height AGP cards with TV out??

Hi,

I've just got hold of a Dell Optiplex GX260.
It's a P4 2GB, small footprint, sexy black and runs near enough silent.
I'd like to use it near the TV as a video server and maybe displaying
Digiguide and surfing on the TV if the display is good enough.

Thing is it doesn't come with TV out and I haven't got a scan converter.
I'd like to put in a good video card with TV out but due to the slim
line design the AGP & PCI slot will only take a card that is about half
the height of a normal PC card...

Any ideas where I can get such a card?
The Dell site does say the PC is available with an ATI Radeon 7500 which
has TV out but you can't seem to buy this on it's own from Dell and
searches on other sites (including ATI's) only turn up the full sized
card version.

Alternatively can someone suggest a good / cheap external VGA to TV
converter box?

Cheers.

Anto.
