This also happens to me but only on the Fuji, I put it down to the
machine 'going to sleep' either the machine or the wireless card, its
never affected any of my desktop machines though.
Have you put the latest service pack onto exchange ? SP3 ?

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Outlook problem
I've been suffering with a problem in Outlook now for quite some time.
Can anyone help?
In Outlook (latest ver), new messages delivered to my Exchange server
2000 mailbox folder don't display (i.e. the new message sound doesn't
play and the brackets indicating new messages doesn't show). This
happens whether I manually connect to a POP3 mailbox to retrieve email
>from
service regularly collecting POP3 mail from the server). I have to
normally click on a folder in outlook's 'folder list' for the new
messages to be recognised and delivered to Outlook.
Don't know whether it's an E2K problem or Outlook.
Any thoughts?
Paul.
