[OT] DNS server software for Win2k Pro or XP.

Guys,

Do any of you know of FREE a DNS server that you can install under WinXP or
2000 pro. I know Microsofts server products have a DNS server, but I'm
stuck with just WinXP for now.

I've been streaming video in XBMP on the Xbox, but have a long 60 sec
timeout the first time I try to list files in one of my shares. I've
configured XBMP to use SMB file sharing, my network uses static addresses
with no DHCP or DNS at the moment. I think the xbox is having name
resolving problems and is possibly only working after my PC to broadcasts
its details.

So I either need a DNS server so I can specifiy a local nameserver in XBMP
or somewhere on the xbox to stick a hosts file or similar.

Thanks

Rob
