Sorry, my misunderstanding. Yes, that would potentially be less reliable
but the same would apply to a number of related equipment. Our main
16-port switch went down unexpectedly (faulty PSU) a few weeks ago and
that has totally shut down our internal network. We couldn't even print!
We now have a spare switch on standby.
